On Thursday 26 May, the ACCtiv8 Sports & Social club (Adelaide House / Clarence Court) held their official launch in the Clarence Court atrium. The event was a huge success and extremely well attended. Thanks possibly to the incentive competitions, the club registered well in excess of 100 people in attendance. Many there were surprised at the range of sports and social events the club offer and a lot of people were interested in our gym on the 6th floor. There were competitions on the day for golf putting, football ‘keepy-uppy’ and a static bike challenge. The icing on the cake saw the attendance from the new DfI Minister, Chris Hazzard MLA and DRD Permanent Secretary, Mr Peter May, who were there to show support for the club. There was a massive feel good factor afterwards. ACCtiv8 will undoubtedly benefit in terms of new members for the club and a massive thanks go to the Committee members who helped organise and run such a successful day and to the NICSSA team for their close support of the event.
