Charity the winner at CSNI fundraiser

Civil Service North of Ireland Cricket Club (CSNI) recently held their annual fundraiser at Drumbo Park, Lisburn, where they held ‘A night at the Dogs’.

The event proved to be a huge success and provided guests with top quality entertainment, good food, great prizes to be won in the silent auction and raffle and a number race winners all around!

The night proved particularly successful and given this success, CSNI have donated £1,000 to both Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and Sport Changes Life.

Club Chairman Ivan McMinn said: “This is our third year at Drumbo and year on year it has become increasingly successful. We have again sold out all seats at Drumbo and it has proven a fantastic way for club members to meets our new players and to get reacquainted before the start of the season.

“I would like to thank everyone who has so kindly supported our event and in particular the local businesses who have turned out to support us. A special mention must go to Abbey Bond Lovis who were our key sponsor for the event. I am pleased that due to the success of the event we are able to make sizeable donations to both Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and Sport Changes Life.

“We now look forward to the start of the 2016 season and are hopeful that the Club will have many successes from juniors to seniors throughout the season.”
